Who We Are

Play Moments is a multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers, technologists, and early years specialists working at the intersection of education, health, and social innovation.

We combine:

  • Behavioural science to understand real family behaviour

  • Early childhood expertise to align with EYFS and DfE outcomes

  • Human-centred design to make support simple, joyful, and inclusive

  • Technology and data to scale impact and close access gaps

Our work is supported by Innovate UK and shaped through collaboration with parents, Family Hubs, schools, and health partners across the UK.

Our Approach in Action

We work hand-in-hand with:

  • Local authorities and Family Hubs to deliver scalable digital early intervention

  • Schools and nurseries to bridge home–school connections

  • NHS and SEND services to reduce waiting-list pressure

  • Universities and researchers to evaluate impact and share learning

Together, we’re building the digital infrastructure for early years support, one that learns from real families and grows with their needs.
